Hunter Valley Sky diving may not be a suitable activity for all visitors to this popular New South Wales wine growing region. However, the most adventurous of tourists may enjoy seeing the Hunter Valley’s mountains, beaches, and vineyards from more than 4,500m above the ground.
Skydive Maitland gives visitors the opportunity to skydive from a variety of locations. Taking off from Maitland Airport lets skydivers land in Maitland or Newcastle Beach, while taking off from Gloucester Aerodrome lets skydivers soar above the stunning Barrington Tops.
Skydive Maitland also offers sky diving lessons which lead to internationally accredited A Licences, allowing people to skydive on their own anywhere in the world.
Another popular Hunter Valley Skydiving location is Skydive the Beach and Beyond Hunter Valley. This Elderslie establishment has been in business for over 13 years and is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley’s wine country. Skydivers can see as far as Newcastle from this spectacular location. The drop zone is open between sunrise and sunset on weekends.
Just Jump Skydive is another Hunter Valley location where daring visitors can soar above the Central Coast. No tandem skydive in all of Australia towers higher above the ground than Just Jump Skydive, which captures this unforgettable experience on DVD for posterity and also offers hundreds of high quality photos.
